In the few hours that life, fatherhood and work leave me
(not always necessarily in that order),
I usually spend them
trying different things in Poser. Usually I create new
characters or try out different ideas. Since I rarely
complete any of these ideas, I consider them
to be equivalent to sketches or experiments.

One of the few animations
I've been able to do, I made
this movie to showcase that humongous sword! A replica
of the sword used by
Cloud Strife in the game
"Final Fantasy VII",
I had one of the default
Poser figures demonstrate
its effectiveness.

Below are a series of images showcasing some of the things I've done within Poser. I approach Poser sometimes like a 3D version of the old "Mighty Man and Monster Maker".

So what's all this leading to? Well, I've been experimenting with a more Cel-shaded look in my images. To me, Cel-shading is a more natural way to work after having been raised on cartoons. So, using Poser with Lightwave's Cel Shading render options. I've created the following characters and images.

Here's a couple of pieces with an interesting look.
Lightwave has a Half-Tone Shader, which converts images
into line art. The results look really promising
even tho' it takes a lot of noodling to look right.
